Professionally, my career is as vibrant and multifaceted as a rainbow. While it is difficult to confine myself to a single label, my professional journey is defined by creativity and versatility. I excel in various fields, including graphic design, teaching, event organizing (fashion shows, pageants, weddings, and more), and fine arts.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a specialization in Advertising and a minor in Visual Communications from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota, USA. This strong educational foundation has equipped me with the skills to blend strategic communication and visual storytelling, enabling me to create impactful and meaningful work.
Who is Gennet?
My journey is a testament to resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Born to Liberian and Eritrean parents, I immigrated to the United States as a child due to the Liberian civil war. This early experience of navigating change and embracing new cultures has shaped my identity and worldview.
Having lived in West Africa, the United States, Western Europe, and now French Guiana, along with extensive global travels, I draw creative inspiration from the rich tapestry of cultures and experiences I have encountered.
"Who am I?" is not an easy question to answer, but if I were to define myself:
• I am a "world citizen," enriched by my multicultural heritage and global experiences.
• I am a "creative thinker," constantly inspired by the diversity and beauty of the world around me.
• I am a "multipotentiality," thriving in multiple fields and continuously exploring new growth opportunities.
• I am a proud "mother" and a devoted "aunt," roles that bring depth, joy, and purpose to my life.
Through my work and experiences, I strive to foster connections, spark creativity, and inspire others to explore their potential. Thank you for visiting my world.
